Energy efficient terraced house

The aim of my diploma thesis is a design of a new energy efficient terraced house in the gap site. Building has two dwelling unit of category 4+kitchenette and 6+ kitchenette. Building has a cellar, two floors and an attic. The cellar structures and horizontal structures are made of reinforced concrete. Sand-lime bricks are used for masonry. The building is covered with gabled roof with timber roof truss. In this building there are used rainwater and renewable energy in a form of electrical energy made by photovoltaic panels.
The terraced houses in Svitavy - the construction technology project

The subjects of the thesis are chosen parts of the building technological project for the preparation and realization of the terraced family houses in Svitavy. The solution includes The study of the main technological stages realization, Time schedule and financial plan, The project of the site facilities including design of the main hoisting mechanism. The realization of ceiling construction is described in detail by The technological prescription. The solution also includes a proposal of local and utility roads repairs on the streets Gorkého and U Studeného potoka.
The Influence of Thermal Insulation of Terraced Houses on the Operation-Related Expenses

The diploma thesis examines the influence of insulation of terraced houses on the expenses associated with their operation. Its first part deals with legislation concerning the issue and evaluation of energy performance of buildings. Furthermore, the types and properties of the used thermal insulation, methods of thermal insulation, types of filling of openings and then the used methods of budgeting are described. The second part contains several variants of insulation of terraced houses, which are assessed in terms of energy intensity and finally in terms of economic return on investment in insulation.
Multifunction house

The subject of this diploma thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a new multifunctional building. The building will be located in the city of Brno, in the district of Zábrdovice, in street Vlhká. The building is divided into residential units, offices, a dental office, a café and a technical background. The building is designed as a terrace house in blank space, non-basement and with four above-ground floors. The residential part has 2 flats 3+kk. Part of the residential areas includes storage areas and garage. Non-residential premises include a café with hygienic facilities, administrative part of individual offices, storages and hygienic premises, dental office with waiting room and background for employees and technical facilities – technical room and air-condition machinery. There are 17 parking places, of which 1 for people with limited mobility and 1 for motorbike. The object is based on piles. The peripheral load-bearing structures are walled of sand-lime blocks. The ceiling structure consists of prestressed ceiling panels. The building is sheltered by hipped roof, which is made of gang-nailed-connected timber truss. The stairs are prefabricated. During processing the emphasis was put on the appropriate layout, building-construction and architectural design and safe use of the building. Project documentation is processed in Allplan.
Semi-attached house, Havlickuv Brod

Bachelor thesis project solves a family semi-attached house in flat terrain. Terraced house is located on the ground number 1646/302 in the city Havlíčkův Brod, district Horní Žižkov. Built-up area of the house is 104,73m2. The building has two above-ground floors, no basement. The house is designed for four to five people, the rooms are oriented mainly towards the south, part of the house is a garage. Outer and interior bearing walls are designed from the shuttering of the company Velox, interior partitions are made of plasterboard. Ceilings are created from ceiling beams and formwork liners Velox. Terraced house has a saddle roof, roof slope is 15°. Exterior doors and windows are plastic from the company Vekra. Also includes is a seminar paper on the topic of heat pumps in family houses.
The Rehabilitation of the historical center and adjacent surroundings of Kyjov with a focus on the public space

The subject of the diploma thesis is “Rehabilitation of the historical center and the surrounding neighborhoods in Kyjov with main focus on public space”. Urbanistic solution covers an area in close distance from the Masaryk Square, where the effort is to offer housing in the newly designed residential district. Diploma thesis also contains a design for completion and increase of capacity of the social services complex which is adjacent to the park by Saint Josef Chapel. This park is a part of the urbanistic design as well. The studied area is bordered by the streets of Újezd, Dobrovského, Dvořákova, Klvaňova, Brandlova and Palackého třída. Although Kyjov is situated mostly on plains the studied area is in a hilly and disunited part of the city. Buildings in this area are rather low-rise and mainly used for housing purposes. The design is focused on offering varied housing, which relates to the existing buildings and develops unused public space. Scope of this diploma thesis also contains a vision for the year 2070. The vision focuses on an area currently with high-rise blocks of flats. This area is adjacent to the newly designed residential district.
Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

The proposed residential complex is situated in the town district Brno – Komín. The proposed place is located in a complex of other family houses with numerous family life possibilities. The residential complex relates well with the environment which is attractive for families with children. The supporting idea of the general conception is to utilize the counter-line character of the building estate and use a gentle rotation in order to achieve as beautiful lookouts in each property as possible. The proposal consists of three types of family houses. Terraced houses are situated in the lowest part of the building estate and they are followed by two types of atrial houses distributed throughout a gentle slope. These continue until the foothill, on which a villa is located with a unique lookout in the surroundings. The project is a continuation of a tiny neighboring estate of regular family buildings, it however retains its own conception without disturbing the character of the surrounding landscape.
Determination of the amount of insurance indemnity for a family house in Lovčičky

Diploma thesis deals with determination of the amount of insurance indemnity for the row house in Lovčičky, which was damaged by mudslide. In the first part of the thesis used methods and the most important concepts, needed for understanding the solved problems are explained. Second part is focused on valuation of real estate using the cost approach, determining the expenses for house repair by itemized budget and evaluation of the impact of repairs on the value of the property.

Built-up area of the house is 125,11 m2. The building has two above-ground floors, one basement. The house is designed for four to five people, the rooms are oriented mainly towards the south, part of the house is garage. Outer, interior load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls are designed from masonry system of the company Livetherm. Ceilings are created from ceiling beams and formwork liners Livetherm. Attached house has a saddle roof, roof slope is 14° and 12°. Exterior doors and windows are plastic from the company Sulko. Garage doors are from the company Lomax.
Semidetached house

The building in question is a new build home comprising two housing units. It is situated in Brno-Horní Heršpice, a quiet district that is well connected to the city centre. The house features two above-ground habitable floors as well as one underground floor, which serves as a cellar/storage space. Designed as an ultra-low energy building, the house has a shed roof with a folded sheet rooftop. THERM-type bricks are used for the construction while thermal comfort is achieved by a certified external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) featuring façade polystyrene. In addition to the house as such, the land also includes a garden with a swimming pool for each housing unit. The building forms part of a terraced development.
